Each year, the spinners present its members with a challenge. This year...we were given a piece of this filthy, ucky mohair.
How do we get from this mess to anything remotely resembling pretty.
After it was washed as you can see in this next picture the fiber is becoming more inviting.
The carding has taken those very Locks into a smoother, finer fiber with potential for spinning.
